YSI helps NARA to maintain and enhance the Electronic Content and Publishing System (eDOCS) on AWS EC2 instance. YSI is responsible for the support and maintenance of eDOCS, a mission critical application for the Office of Federal Register (OFR0 under the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). This application aids in the flow of Federal Register documents from documentation to publication by the Government Publishing Office (GPO). This application is hosted in an AWS environment using different types of EC2 instances with both Windows and Linux servers being used. The administration and access restrictions are taken care of by IAM. The Office of the Federal Register (OFR) provides access to the official text of:
