YSI is seeking a highly qualified DMAS - Oracle EBS Developer. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
Majority of role is remote, HOWEVER, Mgr requires that the contractor be within a 3-hour DRIVE (not plane trip) of the DMAS office as the team gets together often for team meetings and for special training that the contractor MUST attend in person when required (no exceptions). We will not consider anyone that cannot meet this expectation. Proof of address maybe requested.

To Serve as an Oracle E-Business Application Specialist for the DMAS IM Division in the design, development, maintenance of Oracle EBS R12 financial applications and in the future migration of Oracle EBS to newer releases when needed.
Design, develop and maintain Oracle E-Business functionality through the use of Oracle E-Business development tools and methodology.
Perform complex technical duties involving the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of the Oracle Financials Oracle E-business suite. Provides development and/or customization support across the organization for the Oracle Financials module. Performs detailed analysis and evaluation and makes recommendations to resolve simple to complex business problems with the appropriate technology. Performs analysis, design and development of Oracle applications utilizing the following tools: PL/SQL, BI Publisher, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, Oracle Application Express (APEX), Toad, and other suitable tools. This position involves working with the Technical Lead, project management staff, other members of the Oracle development team, and business stakeholders.
Exhaustive Working knowledge of: Experience in implementing, configuring and supporting of Oracle's E-Business Suite Financial Modules like General Ledger including the Financial Statement Generator and the Applications Desktop Integrator, Receivables, Payables, Assets, Cash Management and Purchasing. Proficient with developing, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining Oracle Financials APIs, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Reports and Oracle APEX. Strong understanding of relational database concepts, data modeling and good understanding Of Oracle RDBMS architecture. Experience with creating custom forms and reports, integration with other Oracle Forms and Reports applications and Oracle APEX applications.
Working knowledge of: Basic database maintenance tasks (backups, data migration, tuning, & troubleshooting), client-server application architecture, telecommunications aspects of multi-platform systems; Software Development Life Cycle. Understands data warehousing & ETL concepts.
Demonstrated ability to: Plan and complete assigned work, plan, communicate effectively orally and in writing; motivate and work with people; quickly adapt to new technical environments (multiple disciplines); manage multiple projects with dynamic priorities; be equally adept at highly technical and strategic issues/projects. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; creative thinking. Ability to provide accurate and realistic effort estimates, commit and deliver accordingly. Proven experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Windows. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional non-business hours (evenings and weekends) flexibility and able to prioritize and juggle multiple projects. Understand and interpret customer requirements and develop solutions to meet requirements. Develop and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, data mapping, program logic and flowcharts.
Required Skill set:
- Experience implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle’s E-Business Suite version R12 Financial Modules like GL, AR, AP and PO

- Experience with Production Support and issue resolution
- Experience communicating verbally and in writing with technical colleagues and business users.
- Experience with Linux, Unix, Windows Operating Systems
- Experience providing accurate estimates of effort and duration to complete assignments
- Experience creating documentation to include technical design, flow diagrams, test results, and user documentation.
Salary: $110,000-115,000/Annually with benefits
