YSI is seeking a highly qualified DVS - Business Analyst 3. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- *ON SITE REQUIRED: 100% ON SITE for the first month, then 75% remote afterwards.
- The Department of Veteran Services is seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst will be responsible for evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- The Business Analyst will collaborate regularly with technical leads, developers and project managers on functional and technical requirements to implement enhancements and application integrations to satisfy business requirements. Prepare test cases and perform functional, regression, QA, data validation, and user acceptance testing; provide demonstrations to stakeholders as needed.
- Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 year of experience working on medium or large scale projects as a Business Analyst (5 Years)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (5 Years)
- Significant experience with Agile, Waterfall and blended methodologies for software development for obtaining desired results. (5 Years)
- Knowledge of and experience with a variety of complex technical environments and concepts of integration and enterprise architecture. (5 Years)
- Strong experience building process/operational flow documentation and other formal business documentation (5 Years)
- Help troubleshoot system and data issues, identify root cause, and provide support for internal customers (5 Years)
- Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (5 Years)
- Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements (5 Years)
- Develop and analyze functional specifications (5 Years)
- Coordinate developers to build and implement technology solutions (5 Years)
- Integrate multiple systems and reconcile needs of different teams (5 Years)
- Gather feedback from end users and implement feedback (5 Years)
- Provide advice and technical training (5 Years)
- Design efficient IT systems to meet business and technology needs (5 Years)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field (5 Years)
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (includes presentations)
- Experience working with VITA or other state agencies is preferred
Salary: $60,000-65,000/Annually with benefits
