The Virginia Dept of Transportation (VDOT) Asset Management Team is seeking a Business Analyst.
Job Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements through stakeholder collaboration and workshops.
- Analyze business processes, create process flows and wireframes, and recommend system improvements.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to translate requirements into functional solutions.
- Manage Agile and Waterfall project artifacts, including user stories, backlogs, testing, and UAT support in Azure DevOps.
- Support enterprise application implementations by analyzing data, documenting processes, and ensuring successful system adoption.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst supporting IT application development projects.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
- 5+ years of experience managing product backlogs, sprint planning, and user stories.
- 5+ years of experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements.
- 5+ years of experience developing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and supporting SIT/UAT.
- 5+ years of experience analyzing business processes and documenting workflows for system improvements.
- 5+ years of experience supporting multi-tier enterprise applications; prior State of Virginia Business Analyst experience is highly preferred.

Salary: $95,000-100,000 annually with benefits
