YSI is seeking Asset Management Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage government-owned IT assets using DPAS, ASTS, and other designated systems, including receiving, verification, barcoding, tagging, storage, transfers, and disposition. Maintain accurate property records, custody documentation, and hardware lifecycle tracking.
- Conduct quarterly, annual, and special inventories of government property, including sensitive IT equipment. Reconcile physical assets against system records, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain accurate property books and audit readiness.
- Property-book coordination
- Records accuracy and hardware lifecycle accountability.
Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years with MA/MS, or 12+ years with BA/BS.
- Strong DoD property/accountability and IT asset-management experience, including property-book processes, inventory, audits, corrective actions, material movement, and lifecycle management.
- DPAS/ASTS experience is highly relevant.
- Active Secret clearance (Minimum); TS/SCI and/or SAP access may be required based on assigned responsibilities.
Location: Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal, AL.
Clearance: Secret clearance
Salary: $110,000-$120,000 annually with benefits
