YSI is seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Solution Architect to serve as the senior technical lead and key person supporting USDA Rural Development’s Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Provide architecture, development, enhancement, maintenance, issue-resolution, documentation, knowledge-transfer, and training support for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, SharePoint lists, and related tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead design, development, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of Power Platform solutions.
- Provide technical direction for new Power Apps, including the Unliquidated Obligations application, Document Approval/Clearance application, Incubation Hub, and additional applications identified by the Innovation Center.
- Diagnose defects and system failures
- Provide Power Platform best practices
- Support workflow routing, approvals, notifications, permissions, reporting, data retrieval, and SharePoint integration
- Maintain architecture and support documentation
- Conduct knowledge-transfer and training sessions
- Support transfer of solution ownership to USDA staff.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related Power Platform tools.
- Experience in designing and deploying applications, maintaining production solutions, and troubleshooting defects and failures
- Experience in integrating SharePoint lists and multiple SharePoint sites
- Experience in documenting architecture, configurations, workflows, and support procedures, and conducting technical knowledge transfer.
Location: Washington, DC (Remote)
Status: Full-time
Salary: $120,000-150,000 annually with benefits
