YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to support our program at Herndon, VA. This role requires an onsite professional with strong technical expertise. Qualifications & Requirements: - Provides leadership, oversight, and management of a complex program, which covers a portfolio of programs/projects/teams.
- Ensures performance against contract and program requirements; serves as a single point of accountability and responsibility to the government.
- Coordinates and ensures completion of deliverables, and other contractual requirements; performs risk management.
- Develops and implements long-term strategies, roadmaps, and monitors execution to ensure alignment of tactical activities.
- Manages program budget, evaluates performance against design and schedule requirements and provides oversight across range of project types (waterfall, agile, lean, etc.) and project complexities:
- Consults and advises senior Federal leadership.
- Ensures Federal leaders have actionable information in a timely manner necessary to obtain decision/guidance to facilitate program execution.
- Organizes, directs, and manages contract operation support functions, involving multiple, complex and inter-related project tasks.
- Manage teams of contract support personnel at multiple locations.
- Maintains and manages the client interface at the senior levels of the client organization. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items.
- Ensures conformance with program task schedules and costs.
- Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree with 10 years’ experience or a High School diploma or GED with 12 years’ experience.
