Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for developing data warehousing blueprints, evaluating hardware and software platforms and integrating systems.
- Evaluates reusability of current data for additional analyses.
- Works in a data warehouse environment that includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation.
- Designs and builds relational databases, performs data access analysis design and archive/recovery design and implementation.
- Reviews and develops object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.
- Requires knowledge of cybersecurity, privacy principles, computer networking concepts, protocols, network security methodologies and risk management framework.
- Skill in maintaining databases (backup, restore, delete data, transaction log files) and optimizing database performance.
- Knowledgeable database management systems, query languages, table relationships, view, data mining and data warehousing principles.
- Requires skills and knowledge of physical and virtual data storage media.
- Ability to effectively communicate with others.
Required Skills:
- MS/MA in Computer Science with concentration in overall data management, programming, technology architecture and 10 years’ experience or BA/BS in Computer Science with concentration in data management, programming, technology architecture and 12 years’ experience.
- Closed completed T5 (SSBI, SBPR, PPR) investigation with eligibility to Top Secret.
- Must have a total of 4 Microsoft Certifications consisting of a combination of the following:
- Azure Database Administrator Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Cybersecurity Architect Expert
- Security Operations Analyst Associate
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure Data Fundamentals
- Power BI
- Data Analyst Associate
- Power Platform Fundamentals
- Azure Data Scientist Associate
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Azure AI Engineer Associate
- AI Engineer Associate (365)
- Must have two (2) of the following Microsoft Certifications: Data Science Council of America Senior Data Scientist (SDS)
- OR at least one (1) role-based Microsoft Certifications: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
