E-file form 7004 and extend deadlines:
E-file form 7004 helps
taxpayers to file extension for all the below mentioned forms electronically with IRS. Use Form 7004 to
request an automatic extension of time to file certain business income tax, information, and other returns.
The extension will be granted if you complete and file the form by the due date of the return to which the
Form 7004 applies and pay any tax due.
To avoid any late penalties, be sure to file your extension before the deadline. Penalties from
the IRS can be as high as 25%. Form 7004 only provides the business to obtain an extension of time to file
the form. The IRS does not accept multiple returns on one Form 7004. You must file a separate Form 7004 for
each tax return you are requesting a tax extension on.
