The Virginia Dept of Health (VDH) is seeking a Programmer Analyst 3 to work with the Office of Information Management (OIM) team and plan, coordinate, develop, implement data modernization of vital statistics and vital records related projects.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience developing and supporting Oracle Database 11g, 18c, and 19c applications in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting SQL and PL/SQL, including stored procedures, packages, functions, triggers, and performance tuning.
- 5+ years of experience developing front-end functionality using JavaScript or jQuery to build responsive, user-friendly web applications.
- 5+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
- Highly Desired: 2+ years of experience using the Oracle PL/SQL Web Toolkit to develop and maintain web-based Oracle applications.
- Desired: 2+ years of experience developing and integrating RESTful and SOAP Web Services for application and system integration.
Location: 109 Governor St. Richmond, VA 23219 (Hybrid)
$95,000-100,000 annually with benefits
